Usage Point Groups
Usage point groups are a collection of usage points. Commands can be issued to all of the usage points comprising a group using a defined group address and the underlying AMR communication infrastructure.
Usage Point Groups are set up by your System Administrator. Any number of usage points can be included in a group. Typically, usage point groups are created to:
- Assign users entitlements to permit or deny access to the group
- Run reports on the group
- Export meter data files for the group
Usage Point Groups are accessed through the Customers > Usage Point Groups screen.
