Meter Events

Netstream not only collects readings from meters, but also reports events. Meter events are categorised in a manner that divides the enumerated code into three parts: Category, Sub-category and Event or Action.

Column Name	Description
Time	The time at which the event or action occurred
Category	This provides an indication as to the high-level nature of the event or action
Sub-Category	A further sub-division of event categories
Event or Action	The most specific part of an event categorisation. Generally in the form of a verb that gives action to the event that just occurred.
Action	If true indicates this event occurred as a result of an operator's action. Otherwise, the meter originated the event.
Event Details	Certain events require or contain more details than just a description and a category. For example, specification of a particular channel number, alarm number, relay number, port number, formula number, version number, etc.
